Harvey D. Johnson, CPA
Harvey received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1971. He was associated with a national accounting firm from 1971 until November 1975, at which time he joined Seim, Johnson, Sestak & Quist, LLP. He became a partner in the firm in October 1978.

Harvey has over 25 years experience in the healthcare industry. He has served hospitals ranging in size from 20 to over 600 beds, and has a thorough understanding of third-party reimbursement programs. He has conducted meetings related to SHUR, cost containment legislation and cost reporting for the Nebraska Association of Hospitals and Health Systems, the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the firm's own client seminars. In addition, he has provided expert testimony in Certificate of Need hearings and appeals, Medicare and Medicaid appeals and public hearings at the legislative level.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Nebraska and Iowa Societies of Certified Public Accountants, and the Nebraska Chapter of Healthcare Financial Management Association where he previously served as president.
